Welcome and join us in our purpose-built hospital! We are a RCVS accredited Primary Care Practice based in Guilford, providing the highest standard of veterinary care for small animals in a friendly and professional environment. Our practices are continuously updated to ensure that our pets are cared for in the best way possible through our facilities and caring team.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Full-time basis with a 1:5 weekend rota (Saturdays only following Monday off).
- Shifts range from 8am - 5pm, 9am - 6pm, or 10:30am - 7:30pm.
- Most of our nurses work this pattern, but we are flexible and open to longer shifts over 4 days.
We are a passionate close-knit team looking forward to meeting a new member of the Alder team. The team truly is everything, and we are always keen to learn new things and give the best to our patients. We have started introducing schedule 3 procedures for the nurses and run nurse consults every day. We actively encourage RVNs to take on projects and pursue new skills.
Working in a purpose-built building has its perks; we have great facilities and would recommend anyone interested to come for a tour! Located within walking distance of amenities including a spa, gym, coffee shop, grocery store, and alongside a beautiful park, we can offer great facilities outside the hospital as well as inside, aiding our great work/life balance ethos.
Developing and empowering our nurses is important to us. You will have access to over 150 hours of pre-recorded CPD delivered by our expert clinicians and nurses. All of our nurses receive a robust induction to help you thrive in your new role. On top of this, you will have access to modular courses on various topics including our AVA-accredited anaesthesia and analgesia modular course.
