An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person and animal lover to join the St Annes nursing team! We are the largest veterinary practice within the local area, employing 13 vets and 16 members of nursing staff. We wish to welcome someone into our team to assist us in providing exemplary care to our patients, whether they are staying with us for a day procedure or being nursed back to health. The practice has an embedded culture of learning and teaching, offering ample opportunities for career progression if desired.
Responsibilities:
- Providing husbandry to small animal inpatients
- Maintaining and implementing strict infection control practices
- Preparing the surgical environment for use
- Assisting the veterinary team during surgical procedures to ensure the efficient running of the theatre list
- Accurately processing laboratory samples
- Client‑facing and reception work
