Are you in search of a role within a team known for their fantastic support of newly graduated vets and encouragement for continual development? We are thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our exceptional, long-standing, and friendly team at Shires Vets.

- Established over 70 years ago, serving Staffordshire and the surrounding counties, with sites in Stone, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Eccleshall & Gnosall.
- Our largest site, Stone, is a busy, purpose-built facility offering a varied and exciting caseload.
- Our Stoke on Trent, Stafford and Eccleshall branches are smaller sites but offer a similar range of x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab, separate dog/cat wards and much more in light and spacious working environments.
- As a practice we have a range of orthopaedic/surgical equipment and a newly replaced laparoscopy kit to support this established service.
- Our experienced team includes several certificate holders (medicine, surgery, ophthalmology & feline medicine) with further vets currently studying towards certificates in medicine and surgery.
- We have a weekly visiting certificate level referral ophthalmologist, an AVP in Surgery who offers a range of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, and three vets offering echocardiography for our clients.
- We have a strong, qualified team of RVNs, multiple PCAs, students and a fantastic client care team.
This role will be based at our Stone site but will also require flexibility to work shifts at our Eccleshall and Stoke-On-Trent branches, gaining valuable experience within different teams. Join our team and take the next step in your career!

- We are currently searching for a veterinarian with some experience to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have completed (or be close to completing) their VetGDP.
- Some flexibility to cover shifts at our branches.
