Our busy first opinion 24hr Veterinary Hospital, based in Leigh near Manchester, requires an enthusiastic veterinary nurse to help during the night. We are looking for an enthusiastic RVN to take sole charge during the evening from 7:30pm till 7:30am. The position averages 42 hours per week, with a rolling rota of 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, allowing a great work-life balance.
You will be working alongside our dedicated and experienced night team. We are a very hands-on nursing team, and the role includes inpatient care, theatre, and emergency work.
Applicants must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, have a recognised Veterinary Nurse Qualification, and have experience with a sole charge night role.
The practice is friendly, forward-thinking, and encourages nurse progression through various CPD avenues. Many of our current staff have or are participating in certificates and further nurse training.
