Responsibilities
- Provide advanced diagnostic & therapeutic services for patients with cardiovascular diseases, including echocardiography, ECG interpretation, and interventional procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Offer clinical guidance and mentorship to interns, residents, and nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in continuing education and maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in veterinary cardiology.
Qualifications
- Board Certification (ECVIM or ACVIM in Cardiology) OR completion of a recognised cardiology residency program.
- Proven clinical experience in managing complex cardiac cases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client care and team collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced referral hospital environment.
