We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our talented and passionate nursing team to help with maternity cover! Due to our skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons holding various certificates, we see a vast array of cases and refer very few, meaning you will be exposed to a wide variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques. Our nurse team, equally as skilled in their areas of expertise, also boasts some fantastic longevity in service, one of our team having been with us for over 35 years. We pride ourselves in our full nurse utilisation, incorporating consults as well as schedule 3 etc. into your working day, providing our nurses with great job satisfaction. Our nursing team includes people with interests in a wide variety of areas including anaesthesia, ECC and behaviour, therefore, opening the opportunity for you to grow your skills and expertise alongside our experienced team. We are also supported by our wonderful Patient Care Assistants who work alongside our nurses to achieve the highest standards of care for our patients.

The position will include some out of hours work, and would suit a self-motivated RVN with their own transport who is keen to develop their skills. You can choose between 1:10 nights or 1:13 weekends based at our Warwick hospital; these are paid in addition to your salary. Saturday mornings 1:8 at branch dependent on requirements at the individual branches. Collaboration with a team to ensure high standards of care and nurse utilisation, including consults as well as schedule 3 etc. Support by Patient Care Assistants to achieve high standards of care.

With over 40 years of experience, our RCVS qualified vets and nurses are dedicated to looking after small animals and their needs. Having multiple certificate holders in surgery, imaging, and medicine, we take pride in continuously developing our employees' skills and interests within the veterinary industry.
