Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Sales & Lettings Negotiator. This is a part‑time, permanent position located in Ripon. The salary ranges from £16,500 - £18,000 per annum and has these hours: Weds & Thurs: 9am‑5:30pm, Fri: 9am‑5pm, Sat: 9:30am‑1pm.
Responsibilities
- Proactively responding to enquiries face to face, over the telephone and electronically, making appointments and maximising opportunities.
- Carrying out sales and lettings viewings.
- Registering applicants, identifying suitable properties and encouraging viewings.
- Liaising with buyers, sellers, solicitors and mortgage advisors.
- Supporting the lettings process, matching tenants with suitable properties and promoting the company’s full range of services to landlords.
- Maintaining regular contact with applicants, obtaining feedback following viewings.
- Encouraging potential sellers and landlords to arrange property valuations and use the company’s services.
- Working to branch targets and performance goals.
Qualifications & Qualities
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- The drive and ability to close deals.
- The ability to build and maintain strong, honest relationships with clients.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- A self‑motivated and target‑driven mindset.
- Good IT skills.
- Experience in property is desirable, but transferable sales or customer service skills will be considered.
