Teconnex Keighley plant seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) to work our late shift.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 14:00β22:30; Friday 11:30β17:30. We can flex to a rotation shift with Monday to Thursday 05:30β14:00 and Fridays 05:30β11:30.
The role is within the busy Maintenance & Engineering department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with maintenance engineers, production operatives, production engineers and management to maximise productivity and minimise downtime across plant and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support planned maintenance and maximise equipment uptime.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), shutdown work, and scheduled installations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Support installation and improvement work on equipment such as presses, robots, conveyors and bespoke machinery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Work safely and compliantly, following regulations, manuals, schematics, blueprints and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Essential β GCSEs including English, Maths and technical subjects.
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- City & Guilds (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Competent with tools and maintenance equipment.
- Confident using computers and operating systems.
Desirable
- Knowledge of power presses / forming processes.
- PLC knowledge and ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
