Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and creative PR & Social Media Assistant to support our brand communications, content output, and event coordination. You’ll work directly with one of our co-founders to help shape the voice and presence of Lotus Realm across digital platforms and in real-life collaborations. This role is ideal for someone early in their communications career who is eager to contribute to a growing cultural brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, partnerships, and media outreach
- Draft and proofread press releases, event copy, and partnership proposals
- Create, schedule, and manage content across platforms (Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.)
- Track engagement, feedback, and analytics to improve future content
- Support event planning and on-site coordination for press and influencer events
- Maintain media contact databases and respond to outreach
- Collaborate closely with design, bar, and management teams for content accuracy
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience in PR, marketing, social media, or communications (internships included)
- Excellent writing and copyediting skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram & Xiaohongshu)
- Organised, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English; fluency in Cantonese is strongly preferred; Mandarin fluency is a plus
- Comfortable working occasional evenings for events or launches
