The team designs, delivers, and operates secure, reliable, and scalable digital platforms to support policy, operations, and service delivery across Singapore’s social service sector. The DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in embedding security, automation, and operational best practices across the application lifecycle. You will work closely with application engineers, security teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational controls, ensuring systems meet government security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure and reliable application delivery
- Embed security controls and best practices across the software development lifecycle
- Support deployment and operations of applications on cloud platforms
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code for cloud resources and environments
- Configure and maintain identity, access controls, logging, and monitoring in line with security requirements
- Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and operational improvements
- Collaborate with developers and security teams to ensure secure-by-design application architecture
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Job Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Relevant education qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical fields
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud operations
- Cloud or security-related certifications (optional)
Skills
- Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and cloud-native services
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices (e.g. Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation)
- Understanding of application and infrastructure security, including access controls and logging
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and operational support
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and automation workflow
