We are seeking an experienced Commercial Specialist for our esteemed client in the building materials industry, based at their Burton Gateway Industrial Park site.
Position Overview: Join a dynamic team where your proactive and customer-focused approach will be key. As the main contact for customers during the order process, you will need strong communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure. Adaptability is essential in this fast-paced environment, as is a commitment to driving commercial opportunities and increasing revenue.
Working Environment:
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
- Flexible start and finish times available
- 40 hours per week, office-based
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with sales teams to grow relationships and sales
- Produce accurate quotes and upsell products to maximise revenue
- Maintain detailed knowledge of flat roof products
- Update ERP & CRM systems efficiently
- Create technical drawings and manage workflow with internal teams
- Participate in meetings and seek customer feedback for improvement
- Contribute to achieving team KPIs
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- 3+ years in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment and a similar role
- Strong understanding of the quotation process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Auto-Inventor and CAD software for creating sign-off drawings
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Previous experience in manufacturing/construction preferred
