We have an exciting opportunity with one of our esteemed clients in the building materials industry, known for their exceptional work and impressive growth. They are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their new manufacturing facility. If you’re a hands-on leader with a passion for shaping production environments, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production across brazing, CNC machining, assembly areas, and logistics.
- Support the setup, validation, and standardisation of new manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, including leading by example with risk assessments and permits.
- Coach and develop Team Leaders and operators to enhance competence and engagement.
- Maintain high standards of quality and documentation in line with ISO 9001 and 45001.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through 5S, Lean, and process optimisation.
- Act as deputy to the Production Manager as required, managing priorities and performance.
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Production or Shift Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of brazing, CNC machining, or similar manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to support new process setups and standardisation efforts.
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety management practices.
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (NAV or SAP).
Desirable Qualifications:
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent safety qualification.
- Experience within ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 environments.
- Formal qualification in Manufacturing or Engineering (HNC/HND).
- Experience leading or contributing to Lean or 5S initiatives.
Benefits:
