We have an exciting opportunity that has just become available with one of our esteemed clients based in Shepshed near Loughborough. They are well-regarded in the agricultural and farming industry and are currently on the lookout for an experienced Production Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all sales and purchase contracts are processed, managed, and delivered accurately and on schedule. Collaborating across various business areas, your key responsibilities will include coordinating production plans, managing product supply and demand, scheduling deliveries, and proactively addressing customer and supplier needs to facilitate smooth operations. Key Responsibilities Production Planner: * Coordinate production plans and ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished products. * Monitor product supply and demand while maintaining communication with relevant departments. * Enter and manage sales and purchase contracts within company risk policy parameters. * Plan and prioritise customer/supplier requirements effectively. * Coordinate transport logistics, including sourcing hauliers and scheduling collections and deliveries.
