Linkster is currently recruiting for a respected client in the FMCG sector, located in Foston Dove Valley Park (DE65). We are looking to fill a Production Operative position on a fixed-term contract from 2nd March 2026 to 30th September 2026.
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, cleaning, and operating bottling, filling, and labelling equipment while ensuring efficiency.
- Maintaining quality in line with company standards, prioritising health, safety, and hygiene.
- Feeding all line equipment with necessary materials.
- Monitoring stock levels and collaborating with the production supervision team to resolve any issues.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be available to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights) between Monday to Saturday (3-4 shifts per week with working hours 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00), averaging 41.39 hours per week. Sundays are off, and Saturday shifts are 6 hours long.
- Have at least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in bottling line machinery.
- Have previous experience operating filler and/or labelling equipment (desirable).
- Be familiar with shift work.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have reliable transport to commute to Foston, given the limited public transport options available.
