Production Operative Linkster have got a number of job opportunities for Production Operatives at a leading UK company specialising in steel finishing services, including hot dip galvanising, spin galvanising, shot blasting, and powder coating. Our client, based in Corby, is currently looking to recruit Production Operatives for a temp-to-perm contract. This role involves working as part of a team in a dynamic manufacturing environment, specifically within their galvanising factory. To be successful in this role, applicants must demonstrate reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting. A strong focus on maintaining high product quality is crucial for our client’s continued success. * Shifts: Monday to Friday with rotating morning and afternoon shifts, as well as permanent night shifts. * Physical Requirements: Very heavy lifting may be occasionally required. * Compensation: Competitive pay rates with a clear structure for pay increases. Shift Hours Production Operative: * Day Shifts: 06:00 14:30 / 13:00 – 21:30 (weekly rotating) * Night Shifts: 21:30 06:00 (permanent shift, although training will be provided on Day shift for up to 4 weeks) Benefits Production Operative: Here’s a breakdown of the pay structure: * £14.00ph Standard hours * £21.00ph Overtime (MonSat) * £28.00ph Overtime (Sunday) * £55.00 per week PM Shift allowance * £94.00 per week night Shift allowance After 12 weeks, when you are taken on permanently, the pay will rise again (shift allowance remains the same): * £14.20 per hour for standard hours * £21.30 per hour for overtime (MonSat) * £28.40 per hour for overtime (Sunday) * Additionally, there are bonus payments available.
