Linkster Recruitment is representing a leading company in the manufacturing industry that is currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their team in Coventry on a permanent basis. Main Duties: As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include: * Continuing the production of parts and making necessary adjustments to tooling and wear offsets to ensure machines operate efficiently. * Carrying out inspections using CMM programs set by inspection and utilising gauges, verniers, micrometers, and height gauges. * Maintaining clean and tidy workstations while producing high-quality work that adheres to agreed specifications. * Promoting teamwork by maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues. Experience Required – CNC Machinist: We are looking for Setters and Operators with either CNC milling or CNC turning experience and: * Time-served or equivalent experience in a precision machining company. * Good experience in inspecting their own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality. * Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (preferable but not essential) and the ability to work to tight tolerances. * Strong attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and the ability to be a team player.
