We are recruiting on behalf of an established client in the building materials sector for a Sales Order Processor based at Burton Gateway. Due to the location of the site, applicants will need their own transport unless they live locally.

Position Overview: We are looking for a commercially minded, proactive and driven individual with a positive approach. As the main point of contact for customers throughout the order process, you will deliver excellent service through clear communication, a professional telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work confidently both independently and as part of a team, and contribute to a strong "one team" culture.

Working Environment:

  • Full-time, permanent position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • Office-based at Burton Gateway

Key Responsibilities Sales Order Processor:

  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly, professionally and accurately
  • Manage incoming calls while entering and processing orders efficiently
  • Process sales orders accurately to deliver a high-quality customer experience
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop business with new and existing customers
  • Prepare quotations, follow up opportunities and convert enquiries into orders
  • Identify suitable upselling opportunities to increase product specifications and order volumes
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities and make outbound customer calls
