We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Manufacturing sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer to ensure this manufacturing company meet all regulatory requirements and adhere to industry standards.

Vehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer’s Core Duties
- Maintain good communications between departments, factories, stakeholders and vendors
- Implement market surveillance testing
- Manage product testing for security and safety
- Identify and seek approval for original or locally sourced accessories
- Ensure that all products leaving the warehouse meet UK and National regulations and requirements
- Oversee insurance ratings for all UK products and ensure they are competitive with the market
- Manage the recycling of products through an external vendor to meet environmental and legal requirements
- Provide annual reports to the Environment Agency of our work and in meeting standards
- Work with UK compliance on forthcoming legislative changes to ensure they are favourable
Vehicle Compliance Manager / Homologation Engineer’s Skills Required
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills – good customer service approach
- Experience working with and presenting to Government department, overseas suppliers, retailers, industry bodies and product experts
- Strong knowledge of legislation regarding to conformity of production procedures
- Experience with insurance group ratings
- Understanding of legislation for end of life vehicles
- Excellent MS Office skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly numerate
- Good project management
