We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Finance & Accounting sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to work for a practice based in Glasgow.
Accountant’s Core Duties
- Prepare financial statements (partnerships, sole traders, limited companies and charities)
- Prepare and complete audits
- Prepare company and personal tax returns
- Prepare management accounts
- Submit documents to HMRC and Companies House
- Respond to client questions
Accountant’s Skills Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a private Accounting practice
- ACCA / ICAS qualified or an accountant with 6 years’ post qualification experience
- Experience with accounting software, such as Sage, Iris, and Xero
- Experience with audits (preferred)
- Excellent MS Office experience, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Solid attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time and prioritisation management experience
- Desire to develop a career and secure development opportunities
