We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse while leading a team to achieve productivity, accuracy, and safety targets. This is a physically demanding role that requires an individual who is prepared to work alongside the team, lead by example, and actively participate in warehouse duties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising warehouse staff, ensuring orders are picked and packed accurately.
- Maintaining inventory standards and promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of warehouse operatives.
- Leading daily shift briefings to communicate objectives, safety updates, and priorities.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Overseeing unloading of stock deliveries and checking incoming stock against purchase orders.
- Co-ordinating loading of vehicles ensuring timely dispatch of customer orders.
- Lifting, moving, and stacking boxes and products throughout the working day.
- Allocating work and monitoring team performance to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Training and mentoring new and existing team members.
- Conducting regular quality checks to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory counts.
