The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

To support the delivery of the firm’s reward strategy and programmes. The Reward Assistant will support the Reward team with the provision of benefit programs within the firm for both UK staff and global Partners and provide first line advice and guidance on reward and benefits queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the monthly reporting processes ensuring accurate and timely delivery of benefit information to payroll and vendors.
  • Conduct data checks and data reconciliations to ensure accurate information is processed and held on different HR and vendor systems.
  • Reconcile and process vendor invoices.
  • Own and run the partner benefit payment process which includes being the first point of contact for partner queries.
  • On an annual basis, provide benefit recharges and year end accruals to finance team (annually).
  • Support key annual reward processes including UK staff and global Partner benefit renewals, which includes accurately managing the data and liaising with the vendors.
  • Ongoing management of the Reward Mailbox, monitoring and answering employee and partner benefit queries.
  • Acting as first line support, escalating more complex cases to other members of the reward team and working with them to find solutions.
  • Highlighting themes from the questions asked to develop and enhance benefit communications.
  • Identify problems and use the initiative to propose improvements to efficiencies to ways of working.
  • Use knowledge to proactively upskill other members of the HR team.
  • Maintaining our online benefits portal; supporting the maintenance and further development including trouble shooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Supporting employees and partners with system queries or issues.
  • Ensuring data and information accuracy.
  • Updating and improving communications.
  • Regular checks of benefits information on the portal and ensuring information is corrected and updated as soon as made aware of the change.
  • Supporting with the testing and roll out of project windows throughout the year.
  • Supporting with the development and roll out of employee and partner communications, to maximise engagement with our benefits.
  • Presenting an overview of our benefits to any new joiners/trainee population.
  • General admin support to the wider Reward team, including attending benefit supplier meetings and supporting ad-hoc Reward projects.
Education

3 A’ levels or equivalent, degree educated or CIPD qualified (desirable).

Experience
  • Analytical – able to manipulate and analyse large data sets using advanced Excel techniques e.g. lookups and pivot tables. Strong numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail – precision in handling data to ensure accuracy of reports and calculations. Diligence in reviewing and updating benefits information.
  • Problem solving – ability to identify issues and discrepancies in data or processes and come up with effective solutions.
  • Organisation – efficient in managing multiple deadlines, proactive with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Communication – clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Prior reward / benefits experience is preferred, however an interest in reward and willingness to learn are key.

Office and system skills

Strong Excel experience and capability to create files / review data using lookups, pivot tables and graphs. Workday HR experience or another HR system.

Key relationships
  • In the Firm – Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders e.g., wider HR team, payroll, global mobility, and tax teams to work in a collaborative and effective way.
  • External – Negotiating and persuasion when working with benefits vendors to achieve the best outcomes for the firm.
Third-party provider

Linklaters engages with a third-party provider for the provision of contractor and temporary staff. Therefore, upon acceptance of a temporary role at Linklaters, you will be engaged under a contract for services through our preferred third-party provider. You will not be employed by Linklaters, or have any employment or worker relationship with Linklaters.
