We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere. We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

The Role: We’re looking for a senior operations leader to take on a high‑profile role within our firm. As Head of Workplace Operations, UK, you’ll lead the operational agenda for Linklaters’ UK footprint — a flagship environment at the centre of the firm. This is a role with scale, visibility and expectation. A significant proportion of the firm’s global revenue is driven through the UK, and operations plays a critical role in how that platform performs day to day.

This is not a back‑office role. Operations is treated as a core part of the business and people agenda, and you’ll work closely with the firm's most senior leaders, as well as partners and stakeholders across the firm.

The role will see you:

  • Own UK operational oversight within a global, matrixed organisation
  • Lead relationships with multiple outsourced service providers, driving performance, consistency and value
  • Act as a senior partner to the business, balancing pace, risk and delivery across a complex operational landscape
  • A key focus is the client and visitor experience. The ambition is simple and demanding: to be best in class. Operations plays a central role in setting a benchmark others look to.

As our headquarters, our London office has always been in the spotlight. What sets this role apart is the level of visibility and accountability that comes with it. With sustained investment, senior attention and a platform that genuinely matters, this is a role for someone who wants influence, challenge and impact.

What we're looking for: You’ll be a credible, senior workplace operations leader who is comfortable operating at the centre of a complex organisation. We’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with a strong focus on operations/facilities management
  • Strong capability managing multiple outsourced providers and holding them to account
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior leaders and partners
  • Experience running a large, high‑profile headquarters or flagship operation
  • A commercial, pragmatic approach, with a clear focus on operational excellence and experience

This role will suit someone who enjoys visibility, influence and challenge — and who wants to play a defining role in how a globally significant organisation operates at its best.

What's on offer: Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:

  • Health & Wellbeing: Private Medical Insurance, Free in-house fitness centre and subsidised health club memberships, Free onsite GP service and periodic health assessments
  • Finance: Pension and flexible savings options, Income protection and life assurance, Mortgage advice and will-writing services
