- Provide communications support for major engagements such as town halls, client events, interviews and public speaking opportunities.
- Monitor and distil business developments, external trends and competitor activity to inform executive messaging and identify opportunities for proactive thought leadership.
- Ensure quality, consistency and confidentiality in all executive communications, in line with firmwide standards and best practice.
- Integrate leadership messaging into broader campaigns, projects and change communications, collaborating with colleagues across the Communications & Corporate Affairs function.
- Prepare briefing documents, Q&A packs, presentations and background materials to enable senior leaders to communicate confidently and effectively.
- Contribute to feedback mechanisms and post‑engagement analysis to continually improve communications style, resonance and impact.
- Provide timely support for sensitive or urgent communications, helping to manage risk and protect the reputation of the firm and its leaders.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure executive messaging is informed, relevant and contextualised for global audiences.
We are ideally looking for:
- Significant experience in a communications advisory or writing‑focused role, ideally within a global professional services, legal or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to draft high‑quality speeches, scripts, messaging and executive announcements for senior audiences.
- Proven experience supporting C‑suite or senior leaders in high‑impact engagements.
- A strong record of aligning communications with organisational purpose, strategy and brand.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive communications, including situations requiring an urgent response or crisis management.
- Familiarity with a range of internal and external communication channels and platforms.
- The ability to synthesise complex information into concise, persuasive content for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to clarity, tone and detail.
- The ability to quickly grasp and translate business priorities, vision and challenges into compelling messaging.
- Resilience and adaptability in fast‑moving or high‑pressure situations.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with confidence working across teams and seniority levels.
- Excellent organisational, project management and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing competing demands.
- Discretion, sound judgement and high integrity when handling confidential information.
