About the role
We are looking for a Technology and GenAI Communications Lead to shape how Linklaters communicates about technology transformation, digital innovation, and generative AI — both internally and externally. Reporting to the Head of People Communications, this role sits within the People Communications team and works closely with technology leaders, subject matter experts, and senior stakeholders. You will translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging communications that help colleagues understand, adopt, and feel confident about new technologies, while positioning Linklaters externally as a credible leader in this space.
Key responsibilities
- Leading communications for firmwide technology and GenAI initiatives
- Developing clear, audience‑focused messaging that makes complex topics accessible and relevant
- Delivering an external communications approach that highlights Linklaters’ technology leadership
- Advising leaders and project teams on technology‑related communications and change activity
- Managing sensitive communications (e.g. data privacy, ethical AI) in partnership with relevant teams
- Measuring impact and refining communications based on insight and feedback
What we’re ideally looking for
You will have strong experience delivering communications for technology or digital transformation programmes within a large or complex organisation, ideally in professional services or a regulated environment. You are confident communicating complex technical subjects to non‑technical audiences and understand how effective communications drive engagement and adoption.
Ideally, you will bring:
- A strong track record of partnering with technology, project, and leadership teams
- Experience landing technology and innovation messaging across internal and external audiences
- Knowledge of change communications and employee engagement best practice
- Experience delivering multi‑channel communications, including digital and event‑based formats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strategic, data‑driven mindset
- High emotional intelligence, curiosity, and confidence working across global teams
What’s on offer
This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
