Responsibilities:

  • Work on complex, high‑profile matters for leading sponsors, borrowers, banks and credit funds.
  • Support amendments, waivers, covenant resets and debt restructurings.
  • Draft and negotiate facilities agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents and commitment papers.
  • Act on sponsor‑backed leveraged buy‑outs, bolt‑on acquisitions, recapitalisations and refinancings.
  • Work with both bank and private credit providers, and understand market terms and current trends.
  • Support direct collaboration with in‑house legal teams, deal teams, investment professionals and syndicate or private credit teams.
  • Adapt quickly to new transactions and work environments as part of an interim, project‑based engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified in a major financial centre (e.g., England and Wales or another key European or common law jurisdiction).
  • Strong experience in leveraged and acquisition finance, including advising on senior, second lien, mezzanine facilities, unitranche structures and super‑senior revolving credit facilities.
  • Confident working directly with in‑house legal, deal teams, investment professionals and syndicate or private credit teams.
  • Enjoy interim, project‑based work and can adapt quickly to new transactions and work environments.
