Role Overview

As the Client Manager for the Corporate, Contentious & Projects (CCP) Client Desk at Re:link, you will lead the desk’s client‑sales activities, manage senior client relationships, and drive revenue growth by matching high‑quality Re:link consultants to roles across a broad range of practice areas.

Responsibilities

  • Own all sales opportunities for the desk, both those allocated to Client Advisors and those personally managed.
  • Set and achieve sales targets for both individuals and the desk, driving revenue and profit growth.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales process: engage and negotiate with clients, match Re:link consultants to roles, determine pricing, and secure commitments.
  • Cross‑sell the broader Limitless capabilities to clients and internal stakeholders in alignment with firm strategy.
  • Engage with Re:link consultants on client sales opportunities, addressing testing, briefings, fees, terms, availability and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain placement relationships through proactive communication with clients, consultants, and partners, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues.
  • Resolve pricing, time‑recording and invoicing queries in collaboration with Finance and Operations.
  • Support the Head of Re:link and the wider Client team in developing business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and promoting collaboration with partners and practice groups.
  • Ensure client needs are met and sales targets achieved through strong communication and alignment with business goals.
  • Line‑manage Client Advisor(s): oversee performance and support development.
  • Collaborate with other desks as needed to meet business demands.

Qualifications

  • Comparable experience in flexible legal resourcing or alternative legal services platform.
  • Experience in a law firm or partnership setting (valued).
  • Energetic, driven and proactive, with a commercial and client‑focused mindset.
  • Measured, mature, with sound judgement and an awareness of when to escalate matters and seek other viewpoints.
  • Committed, collaborative team player, willing to help the wider Re:link team embody a one‑team approach.
  • Natural rapport with people, confident and articulate, comfortable dealing with senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Brings structure, discipline and focus; attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong background or experience in one or more of the following practice areas: Corporate, Technology & Media, Litigation & Arbitration, Investment Funds, Real Estate, Employment & Incentives, Energy & Infrastructure.
