The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join Linklaters on a 6-month temporary assignment, supporting a significant global People (HR) Transformation programme. Working within our Technology & Data team, you will play a key role in helping to standardise HR processes across multiple countries and support the transition to a centralised service model. This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation initiative, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across multiple locations and functions.
  • Creating process maps and identifying opportunities for standardisation and efficiency.
  • Translating workshop outputs into solution‑ready requirements to support system configuration and future technology selection activities.
  • Supporting testing activity, including acceptance criteria definition and UAT.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and driving alignment on key decisions and outcomes.
  • Contributing to the design of scalable, globally consistent HR service processes.

This role will be based in our London office, with a hybrid working model.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex, fast‑paced environments and has a track record of delivering successful transformation change initiatives.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience delivering business analysis within HR Services, HR Operations or HR Transformation programmes.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and business process improvement capability.
  • Experience translating business processes into system requirements, ideally relating to HR case management or workflow-driven platforms.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple countries.
  • Experience supporting RFP, vendor selection or technology evaluation activities.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies across Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
  • Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Visio, Mural and other standard BA toolsets.
  • A structured, detail‑oriented approach with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and drive outputs through to completion.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a globally recognised professional services firm, we’d love to hear from you!
