LRL are looking for Electrical Fitters/ Multi Skilled Engineers to undertake the following:
- Fitting electrical equipment to Fire and Rescue vehicles - 12 v and 24 v - including lighting, CCTV, comms and wiring looms.
- Work skilfully with the following tools: hand tools, electrically operated hand tools & electrical crimpers.
- To be able to follow engineering and electrical drawings.
- To carry out the manufacture of vehicle wiring looms and fitting.
- To carry out the wiring and fitting of various Bluelight systems including CCTV.
- To be experienced in working on vehicle chassis and associated equipment.
- Fabrication skills - bracket making.
What We're Looking For
- Essential:
- Previous experience working on vehicles.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Key eye for detail/quality.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Communication.
- Desirable:
- Automotive or specialist vehicle experience.
