Overview
Job Title: Welder (Workshop & Site Work)
Location: Knowsley & Merseyside
Pay Rates:
- £25.00 per hour – First 8 hours (Monday-Friday)
- £35.00 per hour – Overtime during the week & Saturdays
- £45.00 per hour – Sundays
Hours: 50-60 per week (long-term, ongoing project)
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of pipework to project requirements.
- Work to detailed schematic and engineering drawings.
- Carry out 6G welding on 2\” carbon and stainless steel butt welds (Sch40).
- Ensure all work is delivered to a high standard of quality and safety.
- Work both independently and as part of a team in workshop and site environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder / Pipe Welder in workshop or site settings.
- Ability to weld in the 6G position on carbon and stainless steel.
- Strong understanding of schematic drawings and technical specifications.
- Relevant welding qualifications/certifications.
- A commitment to health & safety on all projects.
