Overview

LRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Offshore Welder to join a high-profile repair campaign based in UK Waters. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and certified welder to contribute to a short-term but critical project, with immediate mobilisation available.

Role Details

  • Welding Test: 2\" A106B Carbon Pipe | TIG Process | 6G Position
  • Full penetration butt weld under third-party test conditions
  • Scope of Work: Fillet welds and structural repairs
  • Pay Rate: £34.50 per hour
  • Duration: Up to 21 days (12-hour shifts)
  • Travel expenses covered
  • Pre-transfer shift: 8 hours

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out welding and repair work on a Waste Heat Recovery Unit Frame, performing primarily fillet welds, and supporting other trades when required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven ability to pass a 6G TIG welding test on 2\" A106B Carbon Pipe
  • Valid offshore medical and survival certificates (BOSIET / MIST)
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and quality standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary offshore team
