LRL are recruiting for a Senior Planning Manager to work as part of the Design Team across 30-50 projects, then move into proactive planning and control of those project plans working with the engineering lead. (37 hours a week) Desired start: 06/04/2026, 6-month contract initially. 3 days per week in office.
Experience Required:
- Typically 8 years relevant experience, with a degree or professional qualification (e.g. APM), and strong experience in project controls/programme delivery on large, complex projects.
- Substantial recent experience in programme controls, planning, scheduling and programme optimisation.
- Expert knowledge of design and build techniques, methods and durations, with the ability to produce detailed bottom-up construction programmes.
- Strong understanding of integrated project planning and quantitative schedule analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera and similar planning tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships across functions.
- Good people management capability and ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively to ensure data integrity.
Hybrid working based out of Warrington, working in the office 3 days a week. Long term contract work available. Pay Rates: Negotiable depending on experience.
