Job Title: TICA Insulators – Portsmouth Naval Base Location: Portsmouth Naval Base Rate: £24.00 per hour (all hours worked) £40.00 per day lodge allowance Contract: Ongoing, long-term opportunity Hours: 10-12 hours per day, Monday-Friday (weekend work may be available) Start Date: Immediate About the Role LRL are currently recruiting for 2x TICA Insulators to join a major project at Portsmouth Naval Base. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile marine and defence contract, with duties including the installation of thermal insulation systems across a variety of equipment. The successful candidates will be responsible for applying insulation to pipework, tankers, and other equipment, as well as installing insulation components using adhesives, clips, and wire. You will play a vital role in ensuring all works are completed to a high standard, meeting both quality and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Apply thermal insulation systems to pipework, tankers, and associated equipment. Install insulating components using adhesives, clips, and wire. Carry out all duties in line with project specifications and safety standards. Maintain a high level of workmanship across all tasks. Experience & Requirements Valid TICA CSCS Card (Blue or Gold). Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Thermal Insulation . Previous experience on similar industrial or marine projects. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-security environment. 2x relevant project-specific references.
