I'm currently speaking with several contractors across the Manchester to Liverpool corridor looking to strengthen their commercial teams due to project wins and continued growth across refurbishment, social housing and public sector works. These businesses are looking for commercially strong QSs who are comfortable managing projects properly - not just pushing paperwork around.
Typical responsibilities include:

Projects typically range from £500k to £15m across refurbishment, planned maintenance, fit-out and regional construction works. The opportunities available vary from growing regional contractors through to more established businesses with secured pipelines of work across the North West.
Ideal background:
- Contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience
- Comfortable running projects commercially
- Strong communication skills
- Experience within refurbishment, housing, fit-out or public sector works advantageous
In return, companies are offering:
