We're partnering with a fast-growing engineering and building services business investing heavily in sustainability, compliance, and long-term environmental strategy. They're looking for a driven Graduate Sustainability Officer who wants more than just spreadsheets and shadowing senior staff. You'll get hands-on exposure from day one. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Supporting the rollout and continuous improvement of environmental and sustainability systems
- Assisting with ISO 14001 implementation and compliance activities
- Monitoring energy usage, waste, carbon reporting, and environmental performance data
- Working alongside operational and project teams to improve sustainable delivery across live projects
- Supporting audits, compliance reporting, and environmental documentation
- Contributing toward Net Zero strategies and sustainability action plans
- Supporting BREEAM-related activities and low-carbon project initiatives
- Learning how sustainability actually works inside a commercial engineering environment - not just in theory
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree qualified (or nearing completion) in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar
- Strong interest in sustainability, compliance, carbon reduction, or environmental management
- Organised, commercially aware, and proactive
- Someone who wants progression - not just a placeholder graduate role
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple departments
- Good Excel / Microsoft Office capability
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Exposure to ISO standards, carbon reporting, BREEAM, or environmental compliance
