About the Role:
LRL are currently recruiting for experienced Industrial Painters, Blaster and Sprayers with valid ICATS or TTP certification to join a high-profile marine project in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale vessels, including docked ships, aircraft carriers, and tankers, in a busy and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial spray painting and coating of docked ships, aircraft carriers, tankers, and other large vessels
- Preparing surfaces to a high standard prior to application
- Working safely in confined spaces when required
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with TTP / ICATS specifications and industry standards
- Following strict health and safety procedures at all times
Pay Rates:
- Basic: £21ph - £23.00 per hour
- Overtime 1 (OT1): £22ph - £24.00 per hour
- Overtime 2 (OT2): £23ph - £25.00 per hour
- Lodge Allowance: £40.00 per day
- Monday to Friday: 10-12 hour shifts
- Saturday & Sunday: 8-10 hour shifts
Requirements:
- Valid ICATS OR TTP certification
- Proven experience in industrial spray painting on large-scale projects (marine, oil & gas, industrial, or heavy engineering environments)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Two relevant project-specific references
