LRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Offshore Welder to join a high-profile repair campaign based in UK Waters. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and certified welder to contribute to a short-term but critical project, with immediate mobilisation available.
You will be responsible for carrying out welding and repair work on a Waste Heat Recovery Unit Frame, performing primarily fillet welds, and supporting other trades when required.
Role Details
- Welding Test: 2' A106B Carbon Pipe | TIG Process | 6G Position
- Full penetration butt weld under third-party test conditions
Scope of Work: Fillet welds and structural repairs
Pay Rate: £34.50 per hour
Duration: Up to 21 days (12-hour shifts)
Travel expenses covered
Pre-transfer shift: 8 hours
Candidate Requirements
- Proven ability to pass a 6G TIG welding test on 2' A106B Carbon Pipe
- Valid offshore medical and survival certificates (BOSIET / MIST)
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and quality standards
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary offshore team
