A high-growth specialist contractor is seeking a commercially sharp, field-credible Contract Manager to take full ownership of electrical delivery across multiple live projects. This is not an admin role. This is a front-line leadership position for someone who understands that contracts are won and protected in the trenches - on site, with clients, with supervisors, and in the numbers.
You will be accountable for:
- Full P&L control of electrical contracts from award through to final account
- Leading site teams, supervisors and project managers to deliver on time, on margin, and to standard
- Commercial risk management - variations, change control, valuations, and cashflow
- Client relationship ownership - proactive communication, expectation setting, and problem resolution
- Programme control - driving productivity, resourcing, sequencing and recovery plans
- Health & Safety leadership in a high-risk, compliance-critical environment
- Strategic growth of accounts through performance, not promises
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong background in electrical contracting or M&E delivery
- Has run multiple projects or frameworks with real commercial accountability
- Is comfortable with pressure, decisions, and direct conversations
- Understands that margin is created in planning and protected in execution
- Can lead experienced site teams without micromanaging
- Is commercially literate, contractually aware, and operationally respected
This role suits a professional who:
- Thinks in outcomes, not activities
- Is calm under fire and decisive when it matters
- Builds trust through competence, not title
- Treats every contract as their own business
A highly competitive package is available, aligned to performance and responsibility, for the right individual who wants genuine ownership and progression in a growing electrical delivery operation. Discretion is assured, if this is a role of interest, please forward an updated CV asap!
