About the Role
LRL are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join our client's expert team, specialising in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) installation. You will be working on a major long-term project at Edinburgh Airport, expected to run for 6 months, with opportunities to work across further UK airport and defence sites in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all electrical installation works in line with current legislation and agreed scope of works.
- Install LV wiring systems and AGL systems to specification.
- Undertake cable pulling and containment installation.
- Work to strict Health, Safety, and Quality Management standards.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- CSCS / JIB Card.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- AM2 Certification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Installation Electrician.
- Proven experience in LV wiring system installation.
- Familiar with containment installation.
- Willing and able to carry out cable pulling.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in challenging environments.
- Clean DBS check.
- Full UK driving licence.
- (Full AGL training will be provided - previous sector experience is desirable but not essential.)
