About the Role

LRL are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join our client's expert team, specialising in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) installation. You will be working on a major long-term project at Edinburgh Airport, expected to run for 6 months, with opportunities to work across further UK airport and defence sites in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete all electrical installation works in line with current legislation and agreed scope of works.
  • Install LV wiring systems and AGL systems to specification.
  • Undertake cable pulling and containment installation.
  • Work to strict Health, Safety, and Quality Management standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • CSCS / JIB Card.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • AM2 Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Installation Electrician.
  • Proven experience in LV wiring system installation.
  • Familiar with containment installation.
  • Willing and able to carry out cable pulling.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in challenging environments.
  • Clean DBS check.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • (Full AGL training will be provided - previous sector experience is desirable but not essential.)
