Job Title: Groundworker
Location: Hornby, UK
Pay Rate: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Duration: 8-10 Weeks
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9-hour days)
Additional hours may be offered depending on client needs
About the Role
LRL are currently recruiting for experienced Groundworkers to join a civil engineering project in Hornby. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives looking for consistent hours and competitive rates on a well-established site.
You'll be working alongside a 360 Machine Operator to carry out key groundwork tasks, including deep drainage and pipe laying. The project is expected to run for 8 to 10 weeks with potential for extension or follow-on work.
Duties Will Include
Supporting machine operators with groundwork operations
Deep drainage excavation
Laying and connecting pipework
Trenching and ducting as required
Ensuring site safety and compliance with HSE regulations
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
CPCS Blue Card (valid and in date)
Proven experience in drainage and pipework
Valid Passport (for ID and security clearance purposes)
Two references from recent, relevant groundwork projects
