Job Title: Groundworker
Location: Hornby, UK
Pay Rate: £18.00 – £19.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Duration: 8-10 Weeks
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9-hour days)
Additional hours may be offered depending on client needs

About the Role

LRL are currently recruiting for experienced Groundworkers to join a civil engineering project in Hornby. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives looking for consistent hours and competitive rates on a well-established site.

You'll be working alongside a 360 Machine Operator to carry out key groundwork tasks, including deep drainage and pipe laying. The project is expected to run for 8 to 10 weeks with potential for extension or follow-on work.

Duties Will Include

• Supporting machine operators with groundwork operations

• Deep drainage excavation

• Laying and connecting pipework

• Trenching and ducting as required

• Ensuring site safety and compliance with HSE regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• CPCS Blue Card (valid and in date)

• Proven experience in drainage and pipework

• Valid Passport (for ID and security clearance purposes)

• Two references from recent, relevant groundwork projects
