Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Hours: 10-hour days (Monday to Friday), 8-hour days (Saturday and Sunday)

Shift Pattern: 11-day fortnight rotation

Overview: LRL are currently recruiting experienced Electricians for an ongoing industrial project based in Ipswich. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent hours, excellent rates of pay, and the chance to work with an established team on a high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on an industrial/substation project
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Liaising with supervisors and other trades to ensure efficient site operations
  • Testing and inspecting electrical systems as required

Requirements:

  • Valid Safety Passport (e.g. CCNSG or equivalent)
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, JIB Gold Card, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in industrial or substation environments is essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to commit to an 11-day rotation and the full duration of the project

Rate of Pay: Rates are determined by distance to site (within or outside 50 miles).

  • Inside 50 miles:
  • Monday to Friday: £24 per hour
  • Saturday: £26 per hour
  • Sunday: £28 per hour
  • Outside 50 miles:
  • Monday to Friday: £28 per hour
  • Saturday: £30 per hour
  • Sunday: £32 per hour
