About the Role
LRL are currently recruiting for a skilled
Electrician
to join our client\’s specialist team delivering Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) installation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project at
Edinburgh Airport , with the initial assignment expected to run for
12-18 months . Our client are industry leaders in the design, installation, and maintenance of AGL systems, working predominantly across
UK defence establishments and airports . This role offers long-term security, professional development, and the chance to contribute to critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out
electrical installation works
in line with current legislation and agreed scope of works.
Installation of
LV wiring systems
and
AGL systems .
Cable pulling and containment installation.
Ensure a strong awareness of
Health, Safety and Quality Management
at all times.
Contribute to a high-performing team environment and meet project deadlines.
Ideal Qualifications & Skills
CSCS / JIB Card.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
AM2 Certification.
Minimum 3 years\’ experience as an Installation Electrician.
Strong knowledge of LV wiring system installation and containment.
Comfortable with physical work such as cable pulling.
Ability to plan and coordinate effectively under pressure.
Flexibility to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Must hold a
clean DBS
and
full driving licence .
(Full AGL training will be provided – previous experience is advantageous but not essential.)
