This role is not for everyone. It’s for someone who knows how to run a site, not just stand on one. We’re looking for an experienced Lift / Site Supervisor who has spent their career in onshore lifting environments - construction, infrastructure, industrial and heavy lifting projects - and understands what it takes to deliver safe, controlled, professional crane operations day in, day out.
If you need offshore tickets to feel credible, this isn’t for you. If you’ve built your reputation onshore, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Trusted to Do- Take full control of lifting operations on site, from setup to completion
- Ensure all lifts are delivered in line with LOLER, BS7121 and approved lift plans
- Act as the senior on-site authority for crane operations
- Lead and coordinate crane operators, slingers and site teams
- Maintain calm, control and clarity on busy, high-pressure sites
- Stop the job when it’s unsafe - and restart it properly
This is a role for someone who understands that safety is not paperwork - it’s leadership.
What We’re Looking For- Proven experience as a Lift Supervisor / Site Supervisor on onshore projects
- CPCS Lift Supervisor (essential)
- Strong background working with mobile cranes and complex lifts
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients and principal contractors
- Professional, decisive and respected on site
- This is a long-term opportunity, not a stopgap
- You’ll be trusted to do the job properly - not micromanaged
- You’ll work for an operation that values competence over noise
- You’ll be judged on results, safety and professionalism, not slogans
If you’re an onshore lift supervisor who takes pride in running safe, efficient sites - and you want a role where your experience actually matters - this is worth a conversation.
