Linkers Health is seeking Care Workers with empathy and dignity. We are looking to recruit candidates that are passionate, have empathy and compassion to improve the lives of others within a variety of care settings to a wide number of clients, all with individual needs; you could be supporting people with learning difficulties, complex care needs, mental health needs, dementia and providing care for older people. This is an essential role with high responsibility. An ideal candidate would have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
As a Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to assist residents to maintain their independence including personal care, mealtimes, and activities whilst also providing a listening ear to those who need it most.
Work Location: Brentwood, Essex
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure facility.
- Report all irregularities back to management staff.
- Interact with the residents in a caring and compassionate manner.
- Accurately complete all required reports.
- Interact with families and other visitors in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- First Aid
- No care work experience needed but an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (Preferred)
- Valid DBS
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
- Flexible shifts to fit around you: full or part-time, days, nights and weekends
Type: Agency Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: From £10.50 per hour to £14.50 per hour
