The Java engineer is expected to possess strong technical expertise, deep experience in digital platforms and good mentoring skills. The candidate should enjoy working in a startup‑like environment and be able to interact well with our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Back‑end application development
- Strong coordination with our Lead Java engineer
- Working closely with Pre‑Sales to discuss, identify and propose the correct technical solutions
- The role will report to the CTO and will be part of the software development teams
Requirements And Skills
- At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with Java
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures
- Knowledge of object‑oriented programming, multi‑threading
- Experience in Agile development
- High level of responsibility and ownership
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
- Persistent, diligent and talented in problem solving
- Fluent in English
Tools & Technologies
- AWS Cloud Services: S3, SQS, SNS, SES, CloudFormation, Elasticsearch
- Application: Java 17, Spring Boot, Hibernate
- Build tools: Gradle
- CI/CD: Jenkins, AWS EKS
- RESTful services, Client/Server Application
- Test Automation (JUnit, easyMock, jMock, Selenium)
- Database: AWS Aurora (MySQL compatible)
Additional (would be a plus)
- Knowledge of XML/JSON
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
