As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP)/Surgical First Assistant at our hospital, you'll be focused, detail-oriented, empathetic with great communication skills. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub and SFA roles within a Theatre environment, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. Experience in anaesthetics and recovery is desirable but not essential.

As a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
  • Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
  • Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence-based
  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training if not already trained
