We're currently recruiting for a Van Mobile Electrical Engineer, covering a mixed portfolio of office and retail sites across the South East. This is a great opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a straightforward compliance-focused role with a good work-life balance.

The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out statutory compliance and basic electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties. The work is primarily focused on routine checks and ensuring systems remain safe and compliant.

Duties:

  • Carrying out statutory compliance tasks (emergency lighting, fire alarms, basic electrical checks)
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Attending reactive maintenance tasks when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
  • Maintaining accurate service records and reports

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition desirable
  • Experience working within commercial environments (office/retail preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good understanding of compliance and PPM works

Package:

  • Salary: £40,000 - £42,000
  • Company van & fuel card
  • 1 in 4 call-out rota (£100 standby)
