Tripod are recruiting for 2x Occupational Therapists to work in Warwick.
Roles: Locum Band 5 and 7 Occupational Therapists
Location: Warwick
Rate: Band 5 £22-£23 an hour, Band 7 £28-£31 an hour
Hours: Full time ideally
Contract Length: Ongoing
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
BAND 7 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Specific Skills:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a recognised degree and extensive experience in acute mental health and community settings
- Skilled in delivering a range of evidence-based OT assessments and interventions, both direct and indirect
- Strong clinical reasoning with ability to contribute to MDT formulation, risk assessment, and risk management
- Confident in managing complex and sensitive situations using sound professional judgement
- Experience supervising staff and supporting team development
- Ability to contribute to service improvement, audits, and identifying gaps in care
- Maintain safe, structured, and patient-centred therapeutic environments
- Effective MDT working and collaboration with external/third-sector services
- Clear communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical governance and Trust policies
- Adaptable with strong organisational skills to manage workload in fast-paced settings
- Full UK driving licence with access to own transport
BAND 5 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Specific Skills:
- Specialist OT assessments and interventions in acute mental health/community settings
- Strong clinical judgement in complex and crisis situations
- Supervision and development of staff and students
- Service improvement, audits, and outcome measures
- Safe, structured, patient-centred therapeutic environments
- MDT working and external/third-sector collaboration
- Clear communication, accurate documentation, and policy compliance
- Strong organisation, caseload management, and adaptability
- Full UK driving licence with access to own transport (Desirable)
