Tripod are recruiting for 2x Occupational Therapists to work in Warwick.

Roles: Locum Band 5 and 7 Occupational Therapists

Location: Warwick

Rate: Band 5 £22-£23 an hour, Band 7 £28-£31 an hour

Hours: Full time ideally

Contract Length: Ongoing

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday

BAND 7 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Specific Skills:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a recognised degree and extensive experience in acute mental health and community settings
  • Skilled in delivering a range of evidence-based OT assessments and interventions, both direct and indirect
  • Strong clinical reasoning with ability to contribute to MDT formulation, risk assessment, and risk management
  • Confident in managing complex and sensitive situations using sound professional judgement
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting team development
  • Ability to contribute to service improvement, audits, and identifying gaps in care
  • Maintain safe, structured, and patient-centred therapeutic environments
  • Effective MDT working and collaboration with external/third-sector services
  • Clear communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical governance and Trust policies
  • Adaptable with strong organisational skills to manage workload in fast-paced settings
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own transport

BAND 5 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Specific Skills:

  • Specialist OT assessments and interventions in acute mental health/community settings
  • Strong clinical judgement in complex and crisis situations
  • Supervision and development of staff and students
  • Service improvement, audits, and outcome measures
  • Safe, structured, patient-centred therapeutic environments
  • MDT working and external/third-sector collaboration
  • Clear communication, accurate documentation, and policy compliance
  • Strong organisation, caseload management, and adaptability
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own transport (Desirable)
