We are seeking a skilled Linguistics professional specializing in the Welsh language (Cymraeg) to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.
Location: Remote Wales/ UK
Engagement: Part-time, project-based expert evaluation work

This project engages linguistics experts to evaluate AI-generated Welsh text. Contributors will assess grammatical correctness (including initial consonant mutations), naturalness, stylistic appropriateness, and regional dialect usage (e.g., North vs. South Welsh) in model outputs.
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated Welsh text for grammatical correctness and linguistic naturalness.
- Compare multiple model outputs and select the most linguistically appropriate option in Welsh.
- Assess dialect-specific usage and regional variations (e.g., Gogledd vs. De).
- Identify syntactic, semantic, or stylistic issues (e.g., incorrect mutations, unnatural word order, or anglicized phrasing).
- Provide concise written explanations supporting linguistic judgments in English or Welsh as required.

- Completed evaluation tasks with structured ratings.
- Expert linguistic judgments regarding Welsh grammar, syntax, and morphology.

Qualifications
