Helping shape the future of defence capability! I’m hiring a Validation and Verification Engineer (V&V) to support the delivery of Command & Control (C2) sub-systems, which are the vital nerve centres of advanced systems. You’ll be at the heart of innovation, working in a domain that gives you exposure to the full development lifecycle from concept to in-service support. Expect to make a real-world impact by helping protect national security through cutting-edge technology.

As the Validation & Verification Engineer, you'll be part of a team making sure the next-generation C2 sub-systems are operationally ready. These systems are the decision making hubs of our defence solutions, designed to detect and assess threats and manage complex engagement scenarios in real-time.

Your day to day role as a Validation & Verification Engineer (V&) will include:

  • Developing C2 test scenarios and success criteria
  • Support validation and verification (V&V) activities across the full product lifecycle
  • Produce verification plans and define the methods of validation with the equipment Design Authority
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering and system design teams

To secure this V&V role, you will have:

  • Experience in systems engineering / design for software-based systems
  • A relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Exposure to tools such as SysML, Rhapsody, and DOORS is desirable (training available if needed)
  • Eligibility for High level Security Clearance in the UK
